Hi, I’m Steph
I made the leap from private practice to in-house lawyering while simultaneously moving across the globe. Then, as a lawyer at one of the biggest companies in the world and living in a foreign country, I battled an undiagnosable kidney disease before falling unexpectedly pregnant. What a ride!
Professionals are often asked to devote their entire self to their work; so much that it becomes their identity. That was certainly the case for me and, when my personal circumstances shifted, I had to face the reality that work couldn’t be my singular focus anymore. Instead, I learned strategies to perform professionally while also showing up for myself, my health and my family.
It sounds simple enough, but there was a lot of lonely trial and error involved. I wanted to continue to appear capable and competent in my role, which made it difficult to seek support from colleagues - and, though I leaned heavily on my friends, they didn’t understand my work environment or have the training to properly support me.
What I really needed was someone with the lived experience and coaching skills to support me through each transition. That realisation led me to this coaching practice.
So, if you think I might be able to help you with whatever’s on your plate, book in for a free, no-obligation chat.
With over a decade of professional experience working at top-tier law firms and multinational companies, I understand the pressure to perform. I’ve also experienced first-hand the battle against burnout, learning strategies to radically reduce churn and create space to lead.
